About
Meet Christine
Christine is a Masters-qualified psychotherapist based in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, and is committed to finding more compassionate and effective ways to help people feel well. She has worked in adult and paediatric mental health in Melbourne and Ballarat in Victoria, and in education settings delivering student support programs.
Taking a holistic approach to care, Christine guides clients to uncover root causes, rather than solely working on symptom management, to create more flow and balance in their lives. She weaves together her grounding in psychological science and counselling with other modalities, including mindfulness, meditation, yoga, somatic therapy and process-work (process oriented psychology).
Believing that connection and compassion is integral to a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, Christine focuses on providing a warm and caring space for clients to feel like they are a person beyond their symptoms, can become clear of their path forward, and can trust their intuition. Christine enjoys working collaboratively with those in her care and their greater support network to help them reach their wellbeing goals.

About Woven
Woven Holistic Counselling was inspired by founder Christine’s lived experience in the mental health system. Her experiences left her searching for a more dignified and compassionate approach to mental health care.
She witnessed practitioners that had difficulty truly hearing patients’ voices and were quick to dismiss patient concerns. There was also a reluctance to acknowledge the validity and positive impact of alternative modalities on patients’ wellbeing. Christine also had concerns for the growing unregulated wellness industry, where those without formal training on safe and ethical mental health practice were providing services. Woven Holistic Counselling was born to bridge this gap and provide holistic mental health care grounded in both psychological science and alternative modalities.
Woven’s vision is for people to be able to live balanced and aligned lives, where they can acknowledge their strengths and limitations, fulfil their potential, and impact their community in positive and meaningful ways.
To reach this vision, Woven Holistic Counselling is committed to creating a safe space by listening non-judgementally and working collaboratively. Woven guides people to courageously explore and heal their inner world so you can walk away feeling lighter and ‘unstuck’.
